The Native American vision quest has been referred to as a powerful tool for gaining spiritual insight and understanding. For centuries, the indigenous population of America has used these rituals to learn one's purpose in life, answer pressing and monumental questions and even to consulting with animal spirit guides and guardians. Undergoing vision question preparation is recommended before undertaking the endeavor.
Catriona also offers guided nature quests for people who want more group contact and/or more one on one instruction from Catriona. A guided nature quest provides peaceful time alone in nature with group and one on one training and sharing of experiences, in a similar experience to that of the Native American vision quest.
Catriona will instruct participants on the application of the Medicine Wheel and in certain meditative disciplines, because before embarking on this powerful ritual, one must first undertake vision quest preparation. Most importantly, powerful clearing practices must be used for at least seven days (although 28 days of clearing is much preferred) to prepare the body and spirit of the quest. Many people also choose to fast during their vision quests (although this is not required).
She provides each Quest participant with powerful clearing practices based on the four primary elements found in nature: Earth, Air, and Fire & Water. It is recommended that you complete these practices prior to the Quest - 28 days is ideal - one week of clearing practice is required prior to the Quest.
A Nature Quest is for you if you are seeking solitude in nature with the comfort and structure of a group learning experience. Nature Quests benefit participants by providing them with free time to be alone and enjoy nature, and a balance of group and one on one beneficial practices and learning.
