The rains have come to Northern California. On my morning walk in Deer Park the wonderful sound of a lively stream could be heard in the valley, frothing with the rainwater and newly washed earth. Many of the streams that run in valleys between the rolling hills of Marin are now “alive” after a season ofdormancy. This afternoon, the mists sit low on the hillsides like mysterious and beautiful silver veils over the Redwoods, Eucalyptus, Live Oak and other trees around our home. Flocks of midnight black crows and ravens call to one another from their tall perches of tree limbs and telephone wires. These are the signs of winter in Marin.

This is the time of year to welcome back the sun, which begins its journey south after December 21st (Winter Solstice). Days will begin to get longer now and warmer. It is a time to celebrate life and light, and connect with friends, family and colleagues.

Today, December 21st was chosen to send you this announcement about the creation of “Natural Pathfinder”, which offers innovative nature-based quests, coaching, and out-door- adventures.

In the “presence” of nature, people can undergo remarkable healing and gain a sense of purpose. The groundbreaking work of Masaru Emoto, showing how water can copy and transmit human messages and thus “communicate” with people (as premiered in the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know” and published in “Hidden Messages in Water”), is proof of the intimate and powerful tie that we all have with the primary elements found in nature. My new work combines many years of experience gaining an in-depth understanding of nature, with helping people bring greater balance, creativity and purpose into their lives.
